Mount Carmel College welcomes applications from girls (Kindergarten to Year 10) and boys (Kindergarten to Year 2) at any time.

Key entry points to the College are Kindergarten and Year 7, however we welcome applications for any year where there are vacancies, and we also maintain waiting lists. Kindergarten children must be aged four on the 1st of January of their Kinder year.

While enrolment preference is given to Catholic families, our College community is an inclusive one. We are proud of the many students who have come to us from other Catholic, Independent and Government schools.

Prospective students and their families are warmly invited to book a tour of the College.

Enrolment procedure

Catholic schools are open to all who value and share their explicit goals and acknowledged educational quality.

Preference for enrolment is determined by the prioritised order listed in the Catholic Education Enrolment Policy.

If you are interested in enrolling at Mount Carmel College, please complete and submit an Enrolment Form, or contact our Enrolments Officer.

Prospective students and their parents are then invited to attend an interview with the Principal. Where places are available, offers are sent out soon after the interview.

During the Enrolment process, you will need to supply the following:
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate (if available)
  • Most recent school report
  • Immunisation information (or complete the Immunisation Statutory Declaration)
  • NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy)

Places may be available in any year level throughout the year. Please contact our Enrolments Officer at any time to discuss your child’s education and enrolment.
