Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment that is home away from home.

Located in our Early Learning Centre, we have spacious open areas, quiet rooms, excellent educational and play resources, and a playground designed to meet the needs of the younger age group.

The children in our care also have access to the College’s main facilities such as the Library, Cahill Centre, music rooms and physical education spaces and equipment.

Taking account of individual needs, we work hard to ensure a safe, stable, supportive, challenging and happy environment for all the children in our care.

Both the morning (7.30am – 8.30am) and afternoon (3.05pm – 6.00pm) sessions provide students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with a supportive environment for free play, planned experiences, school activities and homework as well as some quiet time. A nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea is also provided.

We also provide care for Student Free Days and School Holiday Care.

  • Before School Care: $16.25
  • After School Care: $41.25
  • School Holiday Care & Student Free Days: (Excursion Costs Additional): $81.60 per day
  • Late Pick Up Fee: $32.60 for every 5 minutes past 6.00pm
  • Absent Sessions: 100% of session fee

School Holiday Care Program

The Term Two school holidays are fast approaching and we have a fantastic School Holiday Care Program planned. The program was developed in close consultation with our Early Learning and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) students, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. From Disco to Yoga, Pool time to a PJ Party….even the MCC Cook Off!

Term Two School Holiday Care Program

Our Holiday Care program is open to both Mount Carmel College families and the wider community, offering fun-filled days of play, creativity and connection during the school holidays. If you are interested in joining our School Holiday Care program, please book through the Parent Portal. All bookings must be booked through Kidsoft by Friday 3 July, with the following excursion permission form completed at the same time. In line with our commitment to sustainability and reducing paperwork, the single permission form covers all excursions during the holiday program.
