Mount Carmel College offers a wide range of scholarships to current and prospective students entering Years 5 and 7. Our scholarships cover the Arts, Sport, academic, service to the community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Scholarship applications for 2025 have now closed.
There are no scholarship examinations to complete, rather applicants are asked to submit a one-page handwritten summary outlining the reasons for their application, linking their response to the selection criteria for the particular scholarship. Each scholarship has different criteria and performance measures.
Year 5 Scholarships
Scholarships offered to students new to Catholic Education and entering Year 5 include:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship
- Academic Scholarship
Year 7 Scholarships
Scholarships offered to all students entering Year 7 include:
- All Rounder Scholarship
- Arts Scholarship
- Sisters of Charity Scholarship
- Sports Scholarship
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview with a key member of College staff to discuss their application further. If a student is yet to apply for enrolment at Mount Carmel College, an enrolment application is to be submitted with or before the scholarship application.
